Jessica Spann
Creating Wellness Coach and Chiropractic Assistant
My name is Jessica Spann. My journey to find The Wellness Place began at Texas Tech University where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Sports Science with a minor in Food and Nutrition. After graduating with my degree, I was accepted to The Academy of Natural Therapy Massage School in Eaton, Colorado. While in school, we had a very diverse curriculum. Once I had completed Massage Therapy School, I was certified in Reflexology, Neuromuscular Techniques, Infant and Prenatal, Sports Massage, Chair Massage, Hydrotherapy, and Barefoot Shiatsu. A week after graduation I married my husband Aaron Spann of Idalou, TX. Subsequently I moved back to Lubbock and have loved it ever since. I enjoy spending time with Aaron and our two children Faith and Alex, as well as helping others through my massage therapy services.
One day while my husband was at work, he and Dr. Wilson met. Dr. Wilson was looking for new office equipment and he mentioned he was a Chiropractor. Aaron mentioned I was a Massage Therapist that wanted to work for a Chiropractor, and the rest is history! I began working for Dr. Wilson only a few months after he had moved to Lubbock and my life and health have never been the same since. I had many health problems and was on numerous medications, and with Dr. Wilson’s help and guidance, as well as Chiropractic, I am now healthy and medication free! I am so excited to see how The Wellness Place has evolved and how a group of people have come together with a common mission. I am truly blessed to be working here. And I am happy to welcome you to our family of patients.
